The Makers of "Theri", which was formerly known as "Vijay 59", seem to be leaving no stone unturned when it comes to quality, as is from the roping-in of a Hollywood stunt director to choreograph the climactic scene in the Tamil flick.
Kaloyan Vodenicharov, who has worked on international films like "Troy" and "Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation ", has been roped in to direct the climatic action sequence in "Theri". The news has been confirmed by director Atlee Kumar himself.
Kaloyan will direct only the climactic stunt sequences. We will be shooting with him in a few days. Actually, many Hollywood stunt-performers will be involved in the extensive stunt portions of the climax," the director told the Times of India.
Kaloyan Vodenicharov had recently worked on the blockbuster "Baahubali", and is currently teamed up with Shah Rukh Khan's Bollywood movie "Dilwale". Other action sequences in "Theri" have been directed by Dilip Subbarayan.
"Theri" is expected to be a mass-entertainer even though it is a cop movie. Even before they agreed to work, Vijay had stressed on making a family entertainer instead of just targeting the mass audience.
