Mohanlal first, Vijay next in Jilla title credits
The
buzz is that there was a confusion of sorts in the Jilla camp for a
week on whose name should appear first on the title card of the film
— Vijay or Mohanlal. Now, we learn that Vijay has put a full stop
for the confusion by saying that Mohanlal should be credited
first.
Says a source close to the unit, "The crew of Jillahad been thinking about the placement of names of Vijay and Mohanlal on the title card. First, Mohanlal called up the director and asked him to take Vijay's name first as Vijay is a bigger star in Tamil Nadu. However, Vijay requested the director to carry Mohanlal's name first, reasoning that with 35 years of experience in the film industry, the veteran's name should naturally be placed first."
Director Neason confirms, "Yes, Mohanlal's name will appear first on the title card before vijay's".

Vijay to team up with AR Murugadoss for his next film
Vijay
is set to partner with award-winning top director AR Murugadoss for
his next project,which is yet to be titled by its makers.

Murugadoss-Vijay hit combo is expected to go on floors in mid-January
2014. Samantha is most expected to pair opposite Vijay in his movie
which is lined up after his Pongal 2014 blockbuster, Jilla.

Murugadoss took to Twitter to confirm news saying : “I’ m
really happy and excited to convey to you all that I’ m joining
hands with Vijay sir once again…”Jointly produced by Ayngaran
International and Lyca Productions, this yet-to-be-titled film
is expected to be wrapped up within eight months to be ready for its
release during Deepavali 2014. This upcoming project of Vijay-ARM is
speculated to be shot in Kolkata.Young music composer Anirudh
Ravichander, cinematographer George C Williams of ‘Maryan’ fame
and editor Sreekar Prasad are said to be part of the crew.It may be
recalled that Thuppakki, the hit combination of Ilayathalapathy Vijay
and AR Murugadoss turned out to be one of the biggest box-office
grossers in Vijay’s film career.Meantime,’Jilla’, the
much-awaited action drama starring Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Aggarwal
is fast being readied for its release in Pongal 2014.
Imman wraps up BGM for Jilla
Two
giants of Kollywood and Mollywood join together and the hoopla
surrounding is already reaching zenith. Music is one of the prime
factors for Vijay and
not to single out the BGM which ripples through his movies, now with
two biggies in a single movie BGM has taken the front seat and Imman
has no problems in getting the better out of it.
With
BGM wrapping up, Imman has revealed that the film's pace will stun
everyone. He further mentioned that the bonding between Vijay and
Mohanlal will be the watch out factor as well. The move is due for
screening at the censorship board on Dec30. After the censor is done,
the teaser trailer is due to be out on New Year's eve. So tune into
